I was privileged enough to work with Maria for 6 years and call her a friend. She was a formidable woman, who I respected and admired hugely. Not only was she an amazingly talented and world renown lawyer, she genuinely cared about all people; clients and colleagues alike. Maria was the life and soul of every gathering I was lucky enough to attend with her, she was such great fun and I am so grateful to have shared some brilliant times with her.
