I have so many wonderful memories of Maria. My fondest that I will carry with me always was when Maria gave a speech which began with the words: "There is only one Maria Pittordis..." How true that was - Maria, thank you for your inspiration, motivation and overwhelming kindness. Thank you for your words of wisdom, your support and most of all, for being you.
